The Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission has started the process to appoint a community archivist.
The Commission is keen to develop a public digital archive and physical repository of the spontaneous memorials and commemorative tributes. We are looking to create places where bereaved families, survivors, residents and all those affected by the tragedy can view the love and support shown by the community and ensure that Grenfell is always remembered. The role involves working closely with bereaved families, survivors, and those who live very close to the Tower as well as those that live further away in North Kensington to understand, record and collect (where appropriate) spontaneous memorials and commemorative tributes to the Grenfell tragedy.
The full job description and details on how to apply can be found at GOV.UK. Please note that the closing date to apply is Friday 21 July 2023.
