Last Monday, the Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission met with Michael Gove, the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. As we have previously said, we wanted to discuss the future of Grenfell Tower, and to seek clarity on the role of the Memorial Commission.
The meeting was productive, and we are shortly expecting his written response to the points we raised. We will provide further information on this in the next few weeks.
We look forward to resuming our meetings and conversations with the community, and to continuing our work towards creating a fitting memorial to our loved ones.
